January 21 Event is Part of Emerson Leadership Institute, Edward Jones Speaker Series

ST. LOUIS - Saint Louis University’s Emerson Leadership Institute and Edward Jones Speaker Series will feature SLU President Edward Feser, Ph.D., as part of a joint speaker series on Wednesday, Jan. 21. 

Feser will speak on the theme, “Great Cities, Great Universities: Leading With Hope to Strengthen Our Shared Community,” sharing his vision for how SLU can lead boldly, collaborate meaningfully, and serve as an anchor of opportunity in St. Louis.

Following his address, Feser will join Tina Garrison, regional chief operating officer, SSM Health; Jason Purnell, president, James S. McDonnell Foundation; and Mark Munsell, executive director of GeoSTL for a fireside chat exploring how to work together to ignite hope, cultivate community, and shape a more connected and thriving future.

The Emerson Leadership Institute at Saint Louis University advances dignity-based leadership through education, research, professional development and community engagement, cultivating ethical, innovative and purpose-driven leaders who honor human dignity and transform organizations and communities for the greater good.

The Edward Jones Dean’s Speaker Series brings together more than 1,200 area business leaders, policymakers, academics and students annually to discuss leading issues facing business in the 21st century.

The event is free and open to the public.
