Doing Research at SLU
The mission of the Saint Louis University Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) is to enable SLU's faculty to achieve their research ambitions.
OVPR enables faculty research by fostering a vibrant research environment at SLU. Our goal is to lift many of the administrative burdens of managing sponsored research so that faculty can focus on pursuing the research itself. OVPR can assist SLU faculty in the following areas:
- Initiating and preparing internal and external grant submissions
- Managing awards and postaward support
- Navigating research compliance requirements and processes
- Providing training resources to guide investigators through the research process
OVPR is committed to the promotion of research and serves as a centralized resource to assist the SLU research community with preparing proposals, managing externally sponsored awards, compliance requirements, and innovation advancement.
