Camps and Conferences

Each summer, nearly 4,000 guests choose Saint Louis University for its vibrant campus, historic architecture, and modern amenities. From June 1 through July 31, 2026, SLU is pleased to host summer camps and conferences, offering flexible housing options and well-equipped facilities for groups of all sizes.

Attendees can stay in Village Apartments, Spring Hall or Grand Hall, providing comfortable, convenient housing just steps from campus facilities. SLU’s location puts you within walking distance of St. Louis’ cultural hubs, including arts districts, performance venues, and downtown attractions, perfect for enrichment beyond your program.

General Information

  • A two-night minimum stay is required for all overnight housing.
  • Groups will be charged 50% of the total reservation cost for any no-show participants included in the final bed count.
  • The Department of Housing and Residence Life reserves the right to make administrative changes or reassign unused spaces to other conferences as needed.
  • Multiple groups may be housed within the same floor, building or complex.
  • Minors: Guests under 18 must have supervision. One chaperone is required for every 10 minors, and all chaperones must have completed a background check within the past 24 months.
  • Linen service is not available. Guests must bring their own bedding, towels, and toiletries.
  • Housing facilities include twin XL beds, and cannot accommodate family housing.

All rates are per person, per night. A minimum two-night stay is required.

Reservation Requirements

  • Maximum bed count must be confirmed 30 days prior to arrival.
  • Room assignment roster must be submitted 10 business days prior to arrival (15 business days for groups of 100+).
  • Insurance requirement: Groups must provide proof of property damage and general liability insurance with minimum limits of $1 million per occurrence and $3 million aggregate.
  • Contract confirmation: this form serves only as a request. A formal contract will be issued if space is available. Your reservation is not confirmed until the signed contract is received. Availability cannot be guaranteed beyond the submission deadline.
  • Additional requirements will be outlined in the housing contract.

Intern Housing

Our summer housing program is open to students from any university doing an internship or conducting research in St. Louis from May 24- August 2, 2026.  We are also open to companies or institutions looking to house several interns in one area. Intern housing is located in the Village Apartments.

The Village Apartments offers two, three and four-bedroom, air-conditioned, furnished apartments. Each apartment offers private bedrooms that share a living room, kitchen and in-unit laundry. The apartments have exterior entrances that lead to grassy quad areas on campus — perfect for relaxing during the summer! Open spaces between buildings offer grills, hammocks and benches for studying or outside dining.

Requirements to Stay

  •  Age 18+
  • Government-issued ID
  • Proof of internship 
  • Minimum stay requirement of one week

Intern Housing Rates

  • Weekly rate is $385.
  • Full summer rate is $3,740. (May 24 - August 1)
