Held annually on the Saturday before Palm Sunday, SLU's Easter Egg Hunt is a complimentary celebration exclusively for alumni, donors and their families that features:

  • Thousands of colorful eggs filled with special treats
  • Photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny and the Billiken 
  • Springtime activities for children
  • Light refreshments

Hunt Times

With egg hunts tailored to different age groups, every Billiken has plenty of opportunities to fill their basket.

  • 11:30 a.m. — 1-2 year olds
  • 11:40 a.m. — 3-6 year olds
  • 11:50 a.m. — 7-10 year olds

Purchase a Keepsake Picture with the Bunny

A canvas tote bag that says Saint Louis University Easter Egg Hunt with an image of an egg surrounding the words and an outline of a bunny underneath. Easter eggs can be seen spilling out of the top of the bag.
Bunny bags are available for purchase when you register for the Easter Egg Hunt.

Get an exclusive SLU-branded photo with the Easter Bunny for $10, with $5 going to the Third Century Fund.

• Sign up when you register for the Easter Egg Hunt. (This will be the only opportunity to get a photo with the Easter Bunny.)
• Each group will receive one horizontal 4x6 print copy and a link to a digital copy of the photo.

Get Your Commemorative Bunny Bag

This exclusive 20×10" canvas bag, available for $10, with $5 going to the Third Century Fund, features SLU-blue accents and adorable bunny ears, is available only as part of this event. You can purchase one or more bags when you register for the Easter Egg Hunt.

SLU's 2026 Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, March 28. Ensure that you get the event details by updating your alumni record with your preferred email address! 

Where will the Easter Egg Hunt take place?

SLU's Easter Egg Hunt takes place outdoors on Tegeler Field, outside of Tegeler Hall and behind the Sinquefield Science and Engineering Center. See SLU's campus map.

Hint: Take a family photo among the eggs with St. Francis Xavier College Church set among trees blooming in the background. 

Where can I park?

Complimentary parking will be available in the Olive-Compton or Laclede garages.
