Saint Louis University School of Medicine's Medical Family Therapy Program offers master's and doctoral programs in medical family therapy.

Medical Family Therapy Program

Program Overview

The Medical Family Therapy Program trains marriage and family therapists who are engaged in service to individuals, couples, families and the community. The program is unique in that it integrates an understanding of individual development with a sensitivity to the family and social contexts in which people operate. Students become culturally competent, collaborative professionals who learn to recognize the primacy of scientific inquiry, the importance of social justice and the value of multiple perspectives.

Both the master's and doctoral programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE).
